- You can get competences with or without a contextId. The contextId represents the context of your application, e.g. work place or learning place. Use the call Get contexts to retrieve the contextId you need.
- The result of this call shows two types of descriptions for every competence: userDescriptions which you can use for talent assessments and profileDescriptions which you can use for job assessments.
- Every competence object contains a competenceTypeId which links it to a competence type. See the call Get competence types for a list of competence types with their id's.
- The property iconUrl is a link referring to the location of the icon for this competence. See the article Get your own theme for the competence icons.
